Moto C and Moto C Plus First Look at 360 Degree Render Video with New Features
Motorola has been doing a great job of keeping its upcoming smartphones under wraps. Fortunately for us and for smartphone fans, a 360 degree CAD render video of Moto C and Moto C Plus has been leaked. The video gives us a glimpse of what Motorola has been working on and at what we should expect from Moto C and Moto C Plus. We should also mention that pictures of Moto C and Moto C Plus have previously been leaked on the internet. However, this video gives presents the highest resolution which means that we can see the rear camera modules and power button design pattern.
From the looks of it, Motorola has chosen to stick with the classic Moto design and to not try something new. However, there are some minor design changes here and there. For example the rear cameras on both smartphone are practically the same, but their positions are different. Moto C’s rear camera setup sits flat while Moto C Plus’s camera setup has been raised from the back cover and it presents a small bump.
Headphone Jack and Micro USB
After closely inspecting the leaked CAD render video, we can also see that Moto C and C Plus’s battery cover is removable. In addition, both smartphones present a 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro USB port as well. We believe that Motorola had to compromise on a USB Type-C port in order to keep the price down.
Color Variants and Price
The two Motorola smartphones are going to be made available in the Red, Gold, Silver and Black color variants. Additionally, the CAD render video features a sleek looking silver model. Regarding price, Motorola is expected to price the two smartphones just under $100.
Moto C is expected to ship with a 5.0 inch IPS LCD panel. The display will feature a pixel resolution of 720 x 1280 and a pixel density 294 ppi. When it comes to hardware power, Moto C will be powered by a quad-core Mediatek CPU. The processor in cause has been clocked at 1.3GHz Cortex A53 and it is also coupled with 2GB of RAM.
